You're As Sweet As Pie

Ganache Nutella Brownie Bites

I hope everyone is having a great start to their soon to be weekend! I have come up these little bites that will make you want devour all of them in one sitting. They are nowhere near healthy but they sure are delicious. I love nutella and ganache so I figured why not put the both of them together?! For the Brownie Bites, listed below is what you will need:

  • 1 Jar of Nutella
  • 1/2 Cup of Flour
  • Salt to Taste
  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 Cup of Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tablespoons of Butter
  • 7 Pieces of Ghirardelli Chocolate Bar

For starters, preheat the oven to 350 and grab a cupcake tray. You can either use liners or just pour the batter into the pan without anything in them. In a decent size mixing bowl, pour in the flour and salt. Mix these two together then add in the nutella. With an electric mixer, mix together these three ingredients then go ahead and add the eggs and continue mixing. Once the batter is sweet and smooth, you are ready to put it in the pan. Place in the oven for around 11 minutes or until fully baked. Once they are taken out of the oven, let the cakes cool down and then add the ganache onto them. While the cakes are cooling, get a saucepan and place it on the stovetop over medium heat. Then add a cup of the heavy cream and let that simmer. After it starts simmering, add the chocolate bars and mix it in for around 6 minutes. Then go ahead and add two tablespoons of butter and mix that in. Let the chocolate ganache cool down before adding it to the cakes. Since I did not have my normal funnel for icing around, I improvised and used a medium plastic bag. Pour the chocolate into the bag and then cut a small piece at the corner of the bag. Then you are ready to gently pour the ganache onto your nutella brownie bites! Image Image Image
