You're As Sweet As Pie

Apple Cinnamon Raisin Muffins

I’m not a huge breakfast person at all so I wanted to come up with a muffin that I would enjoy munching on before I head off to work. I love raisins, cinnamon, and syrup so what better way to make something than to combine all of those items together?! This was definitely a good choice and I’m glad I put it together. Hopefully I won’t eat them all before Monday!

1 1/2 Cups of Flour

Salt to Taste

1 TSP Cinnamon

1 Egg

1/4 Cup of Apple Cinnamon Syrup

2 TSPs Baking Powder

1/4 Cup Sugar

1/4 Cup Sour Cream

1/4 Cup of Raisins

Preheat the oven to 400. Mix together the sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and flour. Then in a separate bowl, cream together the sour cream, syrup, and egg.

Combine both both wet and dry ingredients. After it is smoothly mixed, pour in the raisins and stir them into the batter.

In a cupcake pan, use a spoonful of the batter and pour them in just enough so they don’t rise too much.

Bake for around 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
