It is finally starting to feel like Spring and bright chocolate chips and nutella were calling my name! These bites are quick and easy to make. I didn’t want to bake something full on that would take a lot of time with separating ingredients and all that jazz. I’ve made no baked goods before and decided to put my own twist to it.. You’re probably thinking cinnamon sounds like an odd combination with this recipe but it really is not. It just gives it the right hint of spice for the cookies.
Although, they are pretty fudgy too so they are a fudgy chocolately cookie! Here is what you’ll need an the step by step instructions. Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did!
- 1 1/4 Cups of Sugar
- 1/4 Cup of Almond Milk
- 1/2 Cup of Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 Cup of Nutella
- 1 TSP of Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 Cup of Unsalted Butter
- Splash of Cinnamon
In a small saucepan, bring the stovetop to a medium heat. Add in the sugar, butter, milk and cinnamon. Let it boil for a couple of minutes until thick. Now in a bowl, have the chocolate chips, nutella and vanilla together. Once the sugar is done, pour it into the bowl and mix it all together until it is thick.
Afterwards, scoop spoonfuls onto a plate and let it cool for a bit and then they are ready to serve.
