It is Girl Scout Cookie season, finally! I am so happy that I got to order a few boxes from one of my friend’s little sisters. Good thing the cookies haven’t changed too much. I knew when I got them that I had to make something and with tagalongs being my favorite, it had to be those.
For some reason, I just love baking cupcakes since they are fun and easy to make. This recipe doesn’t call for too many things and it is pretty self explanatory. The texture is like a brownie and taste delicious with the tagalongs baked in them. Hope you enjoyed these little treats as much as I did!
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/4 Cups of Flour
- 1 TSP of Baking Powder
- 1 TSP Baking Soda
- Salt to Taste
- 1 TSP Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 Cup of Cocoa Powder
- 1 TBSP of Nutella
- 5 Tagalong Cookies
- 4 TBSPs of Butter at Room Temp
- 1 Cup of Sugar
- 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup of Milk
Preheat the oven to 350 and grab 12 cupcake liners to line on the tray. In one bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients including the salt, baking soda, cocoa powder, baking powder, white sugar, and flour.
In a separate mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, vanilla, butter, milk, nutella and the brown sugar. Then add the dry ingredients. Mix together both batters until smooth. Afterwards, break up several tagalongs and put into the batter and with a spoon, stir it all together. Now you are ready to scoop up the mix and place it into the pan.
Bake at 350 for around 20 minutes. Keep an eye on it and make sure they do not overcook. Let them cool once done and then break in half the tagalongs and place on top of the cupcake for a finishing touch!
