I have always had a sweet tooth for peanut butter and chocolate so I wanted to create my own recipe collaborating both ingredients. You can guess my favorite candy is Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups by now. Even though I have been “trying” to eat healthier, I still need my sweet tooth fix every once in awhile!
What You’ll Need:
- 8 x 8 Pan
- 1 1/2 Sticks of Unsalted Butter
- 1 1/2 Cups of Sugar
- 1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup of Cocoa Powder
- 1 TSP of Vanilla Extract
- 3 Eggs
- Salt to Taste
- 1 TSP of Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 Cup of Flour
- 2 TBSP of Nutella
- 3 TBSP of Peanut Butter
- 1 Cup of Peanut Butter Chocolate Chips
Preheat the oven to 350 and have two separate bowls for both batters. In one bowl, mix together the sugars (brown and white), cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and flour. In a second one, whisk together the eggs, vanilla then add in the nutella, peanut butter and the melted butter.
Once the peanut butter batter is smooth, add in the dry ingredients and whisk this mix in with the pb batter. Add in the peanut butter chips and mix those with a spoon. After this is complete, pour into the pan and bake for around 25 minutes.
What’s your go to candy and favorite indulgence? Would love to hear from y’all! xx
