One of my favorite fruits growing up would have to be guava. A guilty pleasure of mine are Cuban pastries and those delicious pasteles. If you have not tried one yet, you should have one soon. I feel like now is a perfect time to enjoy a guava pastry in this wonderful sunshine weather!
The fourth of July is also coming up in just a few days and these shakes are a great dessert to make for the holiday. Why you must ask? They are a red milkshake (obviously), you can use blue straws and place them in a mason jar and it is ready to serve for your guests. This is a simple recipe and quick to make. Enjoy!
- 2 Scoops of Ice
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1 Can of Guava Shells
- 5 Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 Banana
- 1 TSP of Vanilla Extract
Place the ingredients into the blender, make sure to chop the ice and then mix the rest of it in. Have some mason jars or any type of glass, pour the shake into them and it is ready to drink!
