Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love chocolate chip cookies so I thought why not try them as red velvet?! They are easy and pretty quick to make. They are the perfect snack and fun fact, they don’t even have sugar in them! What better way to start off your weekend with some cookies and milk.

What you’ll need:

2 Cups of Flour

Salt to Taste

1 Cup of Sugar Replacement (I used Swerve)

3 TBSP of Cocoa Powder

1 Stick of Unsalted Butter

2 TSPs of Vanilla Extract

2 Eggs

2 TBSPs of Milk

1 TSP of Baking Soda

Red Food Dye

1/2 Cup of Chocolate Chips

In one bowl, mix together the flour, replacement sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, milk, and butter. Combine both dry and wet, with an electric beater, whisk it all together until the batter is smooth while adding in a few drops of the red food dye.

Once the batter is smooth, add in the chocolate chips and mix in with a spoon. Roll pieces of dough together to make the cookies and place on a pan. Bake at 350 for around 10 minutes.

I also added some sprinkles while the cookies were fresh out of the oven so it would stick to them. Of course the sprinkles were a golden color so it was a perfect kickstart for football season! {Go Noles!}

This batch makes around 3 dozen cookies. Enjoy!
