A new restaurant in Tampa Bay recently opened up and the owner happens to be an FSU alum. With that being said, of course I had to go and check it out. The Blind Goat is located off Henderson in the South Tampa area. It’s pretty easy to find since it is a stand alone restaurant.
The ambience is laidback along with some pretty good music playing in the background. Our server was very friendly and helpful about the menu and specials going on for the evening. I loved the concept of the restaurant and the specialty cocktails on the menu.
One of my favorite items to try would have to be their shot along with a beverage. I didn’t get to get one but next time I will. I have my eye on the Brett Favre combination. I won’t tell you what it is so you can go there and experience it for yourself!
Now time for what we ordered: my friend got the chips and salsa–which was pretty good. The salsa had just the right amount of spice to it. I usually don’t even like chips and salsa so that’s saying something right there! I had ordered The Spritz cocktail had sparkling moscato in it and for my dinner I had pepperoni and chicken pizza. I am looking forward to trying out more cocktails and food on their menu in the future. Well, there ya have it and if you’re in the Tampa area and stop by, let me know what your thoughts are!
