Speakeasy Vibes: The Patterson House

I love the Prohibition Era even though it wasn’t that great in reality but the style, ambience and just everything else I found intriguing. With that being said, we found a great local spot, The Patterson House in Nashville to try out that basically seemed like a speakeasy. They had wonderful cocktails and food. The dessert? Don’t even get me started. It was an amazing s’mores concoction. That is all I am going to say.

The ambience, service and just the whole decor was all lovely. Our cocktails were made with great alcohol and not bottom shelf because I don’t even think they know what that is there…I also ordered myself a grilled cheese and you’re probably thinking why would she order that at an establishment like this? Well it was one of the best grilled cheese I have ever had and it came with tomato soup so that won me over.

Short story, back in the day at my sorority house, we had a grilled cheese with tomato soup day, I believe on Fridays and it was the best day ever. Considering we got to end the week like that and it was so yummy. Those were the days! Can’t eat like that every week anymore..oh college how I miss you…three and half years later. STILL.

Anyways, if you love the 20s, prohibition era and just good craft cocktails, I highly recommend Patterson House!
