You're As Sweet As Pie

Overnight Chia Oats 

Good morning! I wanted to share a little recipe with you all that’s good for breakfast or a snack on the go. It’s actually out of Kristin’s book, Balancing in Heels. This recipe was easy and delicious to make. Here’s what you’ll need! 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup of thick rolled oats 
  • 1 cup of plain unsweetened almond milk 
  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds 
  • 1 tsp of maple syrup 

I did a variation on mine and used her chocolate almond butter cup! All you need to do is add on these ingredients. 

  • Additional 1 tsp maple syrup 
  • 2 tbsps almond butter
  • 2 tbsps of dairy free chocolate chips 

I just had the overnight oats for breakfast and it was worth it. They kept me full for a good while and it was nice and sweet. Let me know if you make them and how it turns out!
