Good morning! I wanted to share with you all a yummy milkshake recipe I came upon. It is from Yoga Girl, Rachel Brathen. I made it the other day and I wish I could’ve made more! Super easy and you should have most of the ingredients in your pantry already. It’s a great way to start your day with or if you’re craving something sweet.
Here is what you’ll need:
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate almond milk
- dash of raw cacao
- cacao nibs
- unsweetened coconut flakes
“Mix the banana, almond butter, almond milk, cacao and ice in a blender. If you don’t have banana frozen you can use a fresh one (frozen ones just make for a creamier smoothie), and if you don’t have chocolate almond milk you can use regular milk of choice, just up the raw cacao by a teaspoon or two. Blend well. Sprinkle cacao nibs and coconut flakes on top and enjoy immediately! The recipe serves one, so just double up if you’re blending for two ”
