Recipe of The Day: Acai Bowl

Good morning and happy humpday! Hope you all have been enjoying your week. I can’t believe it’s almost the weekend and Easter. This year is going by way too fast. Before we know it, it will be Halloween again! 

I’ve always enjoyed acai bowls so I decided to make my own this past weekend. They’re so easy to make so why not. Here is what you’ll need. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 packet of frozen acai (can be found in frozen fruit section at grocery store) 
  • 2 small kiwis
  • Bee pollen
  • Chia seeds
  • 1 tsp of Maca powder
  • 1 tsp of collagen 
  • 1 tsp of plant based vanilla protein powder 
  • Handful of froze fruit your choice 
  • 1/4 cup of non dairy milk your choice. I used almond milk 
  • 1 apple 
  • Few goji berries

Put frozen acai packet after it is thawed for a bit into blender along with frozen fruit, almond milk, protein powder, maca, goji berries and collagen. Blend until smooth. 

Pour into a bowl. Have the apple cubed along with kiwi sliced and then add it to the bowl. Sprinkle bee pollen and chia seeds and you’re set for a delicious snack or breakfast! Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
