Southern State of Mind

Happiest Place on Earth

Hello there! I am slightly getting back into the swing of things. Starting with another post for y’all. I recently went to Disney world and as always it is a blast even though I’m way into my twenties. But whatever you can never go wrong with Disney am I right?!

My friend and I decided to really go for the decorations and candlelight procession at Epcot narrated by Whoopi Goldberg. It was gorgeous ceremony and I didn’t want to leave and go to work the next day. We had a blast with our hot Christmas flavored coffees while the weather cooled down.

During the day, we walked around magic kingdom, saw the pretty decor and went on Winnie the Pooh ride. I love Pooh, always one of my favorites growing up. And piglet of course!

After MK, we headed over to Fort Wilderness to enjoy the peacefulness and a delicious show/dinner at Hoop dee doo musical revue. Even though this show is geared for families, it was still hilarious and a great time. Like the actors made the show enjoyable for adults too of all ages. I really recommend going. Last time I went, I was very young so I barely remembered it.

The revue is also a fixed menu with all you can drink too. The food was pretty good considering it was all Southern you know I was all about it. From fried chicken to bbq ribs to beans and more. I also got my white sangria in a mason jar, seriously perfection.

If you make a trip to Disney soon, let me know what you do and where you go. It’s always nice to go once weather is cooler and you can wear cozy leggings and keds like I did! Hope you all have a great weekend and stay warm. It’s apparently getting cold everywhere now, eek!!! Xx
