Energy Bites

Hey hey. I have another tasty recipe for y’all. It’s super easy to make and I found it off of my flaxseed meal bag from Trader Joe’s. How convenient right?!

Quick to make and so good. I had to stop myself from eating them so I can have it as a snack for the rest of the week.

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (I skipped these since I didn’t have any)
  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseed meal
  • 1/2 cup of crunchy peanut butter (I used crunchy almond butter)
  • 1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix all the ingredients together and put in freezer for an hour. Then they’re ready to eat. Just like that. I’m not even a huge oats person even though they’re great for you but I really liked these!

Oats are gluten free, filled with minerals, vitamins, fibers and antioxidants so why not have these little wonder of a snack 😉
