Hey hey. So if you all follow me on the socials then you probably saw how I got to go to an opening for Carvana in Tampa. I was pretty impressed with their whole concept too. Basically Carvana is a car vending machine…yes, you heard that correctly.
I got a sneak peek at how it worked. We had a chance to take a look at it from behind the scenes and it was awesome. How it works is after you purchase your car, you can go pick it up and it’s stored inside a glass building so you can see your car and it stays clean since it’s not sitting outside.
I wish I had the chance to do that for my car but I’ll just have to wait to do that in the future! Once the car is selected, it is placed on a platform and moved up and down with a remote to get it to the spot to park it and move it outside or to you again.
It is a little hard to explain but I hope you get the drift of it. I think it’s a super neat process and Carvana will be successful in Tampa. They gave us goodie bags, food from a local food truck (St Pete Taco Lady) and snacks and La Croix only like my favorite sparkling water.
I hope to be back there soon and it’s by top golf and bass pro so not a bad location if you ask me!!
Here are some snaps from the opening. I’ll talk to you all soon. I am working on writing more and if there’s anything you want to see, comment below!
PS yes those tacos were not GF but it was complimentary and I ate most of the meat anyways and minus rice/beans because I’m not a huge bean person either 😉
