Southern State of Mind

Saved by the Cookbook

Hi and happy almost weekend! Hope you all are enjoying your week and day so far. I’m getting to the end of my recovery of my annoying bacterial infection in my leg so hoping it’s all gone soon and I can be back to a normal person. It’s been an insane month to say the least.

Anyways, I recently found out that Tiffani Thiessen is coming out with a cookbook (Pull Up A Chair) and I couldn’t be more excited. I mean my favorite character from Saved by the Bell aka Kelly Kapowski has a cookbook wahoo! I follow Tiffani’s blog and got an email about it and thought it was pretty cool news.

She also has her own cooking show on cooking channel, Dinner at Tiffani’s and makes delicious meals on the segment. I’ve made her balsamic brussel sprouts multiple times and can’t complain. I’m not a huge sprouts person but this recipe makes it tasty with the pancetta as well.

Lastly, if you like being in the kitchen, trying new recipes then I think this book is for you. I can’t wait to see what it entails. Tiffani’s book comes out October 2nd. Right around the corner and right before my birthday. Insane. I know what I may be treating myself to this year 😉
